Please make sure that all copyrightable files like doc/doxygen/atanasis.doxy have valid copyright and license notices; for images and other formats that have no room for such notices, they should be written in a README file in the same directory with files in question. If the code is supposed to be in the public domain, it's recommended to add a brief note recording the authors and anything else relevant.

Then, GNU packages should pass the evaluation step before registering them on Savannah.

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process,
approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific Group Administration page, accessible only to site administrators,
effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Registration Details

  • Name: GNU Anastasis
  • System Name:  anastasis
  • Type: Official GNU software
  • License: GNU Affero General Public License v3 or later

Description:

Anastasis is a key recovery system that allows the user to securely deposit shares of a core secret with an open set of escrow providers, to recover it if the secret is lost. The core secret itself is protected from the escrow providers by giving each provider only part of the information, and additionally by encrypting it with an identity-based key unknown to the providers.

Other Software Required:

GNU Taler - https://taler.net/
(and transitive dependencies of GNU Taler).

Other Comments:

AFAIK approval from RMS for Anastasis becoming a GNU package is immanent.
