Corresponding source code
Clients access to PSIworld objects via PSIobjapi. In order to
minimize locking and consistency problems, RCU (read-copy-update)
is a suitable technique.
At least these functions need to be implemented:
- readObject(): create a reference to the object with its
newest revision
- releaseObject(): decrement the reference count on the server.
- copyObject(): clone the newest version of the object
- updateObject(): create a new version of the object.
All old version of the object with refcount equal 0 may be freed internally.
