This is expected behavior. It is user's responsibility to enter correct IP addresses in sequence as he described in the clusterconf , if he wants manual mode take over.


Manual mode is like advanced mode. User needs to be aware what he is doing.

The manual configuration in client node (by hitting enter before 10 seconds) is to be used in GlusterEP where the client can be on a remote network without DHCP accessibility to the master node. In that case things work.

In glusterHPC the client nodes HAVE to do dhcp and you should NOT hit enter beofre 10 seconds as it is assumed master and client are on same network

When doing manual node configuration you must type the same IP according to the master configuration.

Example.

Master node register "node5" with 192.168.1.5

When booting client5, hit in the 10 second screen and try to use another IP, like 192.168.1.10 or something.

Master don't recognize the node when is waiting to install.
