Enhanced Task Manager
Item posted by Laurent Julliard <ljulliar> on Mon 01 Jul 2002 08:46:03 AM UTC.
The CodeX task manager from Xerox has just been merged with the original Savannah task manager. It brings a number of interesting new features to the Savannah users:
- More complete report in task browsing,
- Advanced search facility similar to the new bug tracking system,
- Subproject order on screen (select boxes and task browsing) are user definable,
- Default creation date can be empty (useful for simple TODO list),
- Original task description can be modified,
- Subproject can now be chosen in the task creation form,
- A virtual subprojects called "All tasks in all subprojects" created
to browse all tasks at once
- Ability to derive a new task from a bug (see Create Task in the Bug Tracking System menu)
- Keyword search in the left hand side search box,
- Task Mgr UI aligned with bug tracker in many places...
Enjoy!
