We're pleased to announce the new release of our IRC bot. Our improvements include the support of the SIGHUP signal to rehash the bot directly from the shell, a new rotated and compressed logfile (if you have gzip library) and a new authentication method, using hashs and masks for a better security. We added makehash to help you to generate the hash for the password file. For further information, please look to the ChangeLog in the CVS tree.

Due to the new I/O in the recent versions of Perl, the Acrobot kernel has been radically changed to manage the external scripts as Perl modules.
