DirsyncNG - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
DirsyncNG is another rsync frontend with focus on "what will happen during the backup".
It gives the user a preview of which files will be deleted, updated and newly created. It
achieves this with 2 dry rsync runs before the real synchronizsation begins.
Backup targets and hosts can be defined in profiles, includes and excludes can be saved.
The program is multithreaded, so different backup processes may run parallely.
This program is written in Python and PyQt and needs the rsync executables to work.
It works cross-platform ( Windows and GNU/Linux tested ).
DirsyncNG was developed as a job at the Institute for High Frequency at the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany.

A new version is available via CVS featuring a new preview of the files, that will be copied.

Hi all,
I initially uploaded DirsyncNG to Savannah. I lacks some easy installation instructions and some proper documentation, but if you are crazy enough you can Download the Sourcecode via CVS.
