Who has not wanted the GNU/Linux system to look better?
This project, the ELPP is a patch to the linux kernel that
displays a splash image and a progress bar showing the
boot progress of the system.

The Features of ELPP:
-> Progress Bar to indicate the boot progress
-> Shows less number of boot messages.  The number is configurable
-> Patch to the kernel, so barely has any hardware/software requirements
-> Shows success/failure/warning status along with the boot messages
-> Only such package for the latest linux-2.6.x series.
-> Themes loadable from initrd. Highly themable.
-> A Theme making tool.  To assist making new themes for ELPP.

make downloading the package easy.  All the theme examples
and theme making utility are part of the ELPP-Themes package
while the patch, sample configs and documentation are
included in the ELPP package.  Download them from the
download section.   Please do give us inputs for further
enhancements in ELPP.
