f-cpu - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
The Freedom CPU Project is a community of electronicians and computer scientists who define and design a completely free processor architecture.
This architecture uses at least 64-bit registers and RISC instructions and is aimed at high computational power (numerical code like graphics, scientific/industrial/numerical programs, sound processing, network, cyphers, games, ...)
The "source code" of the processor is written in portable VHDL (a description langage for electronicians, derived from ADA) and is distributed under a specific Copyleft license.
