This project is not part of the GNU Project.

Though there is a full manual for AS/GAS located at:

http://www.gnu.org/software/binutils/manual/gas-2.9.1/as.html

and man pages are available at the prompt:

URQUART> man as

there will always be issues that are either not clear or not
covered in the manual. These pages will attempt to clarify and
enlighten the AS/GAS user by providing examples and dialog from
and between the actual users of this assembler.
Hopefully this page will become an invaluable aid for developing
and understanding the use of this fine cross assembly tool.
Everyones input and personal experiences are welcome.
