Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier registration will direct
you to the proper location where you can re-register your project.

Regards.

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you / the updated tarball.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project.
You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite,
and it will make us gain time.

Regards.

Hello.

If you really want to publish your source code under the public domain you also had to include a statement, which says who you are, the name of the program and the year (please compare the copyright notices from GNU GPL until that point).
And that you do not have any rights on this program and that you publish it under the public domain.

So all in all, you had to abandon/forsake/disclaim your rights and show it to everybody who uses the source code.

Look forward to your updated tarball.
Regards,

The choice of public domain was an informed moral choice, not a choice made from ignorance. Please respect it as such.

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

You do not want to publish your source code under public domain but under the GNU GPL, because if you put your code under the public domain you had to give up ownership and all rights to the work. But while publishing under the GNU GPL, you still share it to other as a copylefted work (http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/categories.html#CopyleftedSoftware).

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

Description:
------------
The project provides a Gimp plugin. The purpose of the plugin is to maintain a relationship between two layers in the image, with that relationship being defined by a series of calls to the Gimp PDB. After the source layer has been edited, the dependant layer us recreated so that it again has the correct relation (for example, the dependant layer may be a drop shadow of the source layer). The relations are stored as a persistent part of the XCF file.

For the moment, these relations are defined by writing explicit Python code, but I would like to allow users to define relations by recording the pdb calls that result from their user interface actions. I have yet to discover a way to receive that information.

A copy of the source code may be found at:

To install, just unzip in ~/.gimp-2.2/plug-ins/ and then run gimp
