Hello.

Okay we changed your project name to "eanzip". But please add a COPYING file <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt> to your project and provide us with a new tarball.

You can choose the name by yourself. :-)

But what do you mean by "I'm not usefull to public my code on internet"? Would you like me to cancel this submission now? Savannah is a public place and we don't want to host "private" projects, because everybody should be allowed to use and re-distribute them. That's what we understand under FreeSoftware. ;-)

So? What's your decission?

Furthermore your project is not yet part of the GNU project, so we cannot accept its current name.

While there are non-GNU programs with names that include 'gnu',
such as gnuplot and gnuboy, they are not hosted on Savannah.
We want to maintain the distinction between GNU and non-GNU projects.

When your project is accepted into the GNU project you may change its name. You can do this by asking us.

Then your project is not part of the GNU project, so we cannot accept its current type.
We want to maintain the distinction between 'GNU' and'non-GNU' projects.
If your project is approved for inclusion into Savannah, we will set it's type to 'non-GNU'.

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

For your documentation:
In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the FDL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements after the title page of each work.

In addition, if you haven't already, please add a copy of the FDL
(available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html in various formats)
as a section of your works , and as plain text in a file named 'COPYING' (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt).

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html#SEC4

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html also covers additional points,
including a smaller notice that you can use in auxiliary files.

######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
  gnubarzip

System Group Name:
-----------------
  enricopirozzi

Type:
-----
  Official GNU software

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
This is a little library written in C developped on a Linux Debian 3.0, compiled by gcc and debugged by ddd.
This library can be used to compress barcode (I tried it on EAN 13) and can be very good for embedded system. I've seen a compress ratio about 50-60 % on 38000 pair (barcode, prices). It can be used to archieved barcode and price on embedded systems.

At the http://www.linuxtime.it/enricopirozzi/gnubarzip-0.0.1.tar.gz you can find the software, but I still have to write documentation, configure file, gpl gnu license on all files etc... There are only little pieces of C code, but fully working.
In this example I extract data from a postgresql table because I must have data to try but my library can be used reading data from a stand alone file.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
libpq in my examples, but it works also reading pair(barcode, prices) from file.
