CRM shell v1.2.0 released
Item posted by Dejan Muhamedagic <dejanm> on Wed 19 Sep 2012 04:14:28 PM UTC.
The most important new features compared to Pacemaker v1.1.6 (and
v1.1.7):
- history: support for troubleshooting and reporting, log browsing, examining transitions, etc
- resource testing: test if the resources can be started, stopped, and monitored on all nodes
- support for the latest Pacemaker features, including fencing-topology
- geo-cluster configuration and management
- support for LRM secrets at resource level
There are also numerous bug fixes and enhancements. For the full set of changes, take a look at the changelog:

Note about Pacemaker versions
CRM shell 1.2.0 supports all Pacemaker 1.1 versions <= v1.1.7. The latter versions should work for the most part, but due to the number of changes post 1.1.7 there are no guarantees.
Installing
Installing the CRM shell along with Pacemaker 1.1 versions <= v1.1.7 is possible, but it will result in file conflicts. You need to enforce file overwriting when installing packages.
