Resume

My first computer was a Commodore 64, circa 1983.  I learned BASIC and 6502/10 assembly language on it (Compute! Books), plus played a lot of video games.  I wrote a simple function grapher once, and for a while ran a BBS on a 300bps modem.

I began using GNU/Linux in the spring of 1995.  (I have used nothing else since.)  I have a fair amount of skill as a system administrator and system software integrator.

Presently, I am a student at Portland State University, in Portland, OR, where I study sciences, maths, and computer / computational science.
