LPT Interface - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
With 'LPT Interface' pupils can write & read the parallel port's: Data Port (8 bit), Control Port (4 bit) and read Status Port (4 bits).
There are many hardware Interfaces created for the LPT port. I have such a hardware Interface and plan to add Modules connected to it.
This hardware Interface can be seen here: <http://www.nongnu.org/lpt-interface/PC_interf_Oktatashoz.jpg> Just click on the image!
With those Modules students can then create some mechanics that can be then control by the LPT Interface application.
I plan to implement in this application a Graphical Programming Environment so the student can by dragging some Icons to assemble a simple program. This assembled program shall then control the Modules throught the hardware Interface.
This system: Computer, the LPT Interface application, the Program assembled by students, the hardware Interface and Modules connected to it make a "Robot".
