NuFW - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
NuFW is a set of daemons providing filtering of packets at the user
level.
Broadly speaking, the users have to run a client that sends
authentication packets to the gateway. On the server side, the gateway
associates a userid to packet, thus bringing the possibilty to filter
packet on a user base.
This software is based on libipq and is written in C.

This is the first release with packet marking.A mark equal to userid can now be added to packet, thus enabling qos and accounting based on User and not only on IP. This require to patch libipq and the ip_queue module. This patch has been included in netfilter the patch-o-matic CVS.
