Web Documentation Typesetter - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
Web Documentation Typesetter (WDT for short) is a program for formatting documents for publication in web sites. It is more suitable for writing articles about programming.
wdt's syntax is something like a hybrid of GNU Troff and that used in Wikis.
Main concepts:
- Syntax highlighting of source code;
- Fully configurable presentation of output files (using macros);
- Licensed under GPL ;)
- Scripting in documents (e.g. if-then-else structures)
- Small size, high speed, absolute portability.
Output formats:
- HTML, XHTML - main
- DocBook
- LaTex
- Texinfo
- Plain text / ASCII
- Any other by using macros
