Yes, that's alright how you did it. Your project is now ready for activation. You will receive an email with further information about the approval.

Happy hacking!

I have uploaded a revised tarball.  I realised that the file upon which example.creole is based was made available by Nic Ferrier under the same license as Elnode, GPLv3+, so I also corrected the copyright notice for that file.  I was not sure how best to place a copyright notice in a wiki file, so please let me know if what I put is adequate.

During submission, I looked for “GNU Affero General Public License v3 or later”, but only saw one with “v1 or later”, so yes, I would like you to correct that.  Thanks.

Regards,
Aidan Gauland

Hi,

thanks for submitting your project to Savannah! I'm evaluating your project and found the following issues:

Not all files contain copyright and license notices (static/style.css and wiki/example.creole). Please add them to those files.

And two formal things: In COPYING you specify “AGPLv3” when it should be “AGPLv3+”. Please correct that.
Also, in the submission you specified “Affero General Public License v1 or later”. Maybe you overlooked the “GNU Affero General Public License v3 or later” option? It is the last in the license list. I can correct that when activating the project, if you want.

Please upload a revised tarball on the bottom of the task page.

Best regards.

Registration Details

  • Name: Elwiki
  • System Name:  elwiki
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: Affero General Public License v1 or later

Description:

Elwiki is a wiki engine using the Elnode web framework <http://elnode.org/>, and written entirely in Emacs Lisp.  The ultimate goal of this project is to demonstrate that Emacs can host its own wiki by replacing OddMuse as the wiki engine for the Emacs Wiki.  It is also intented to help Elnode early on from succumbing to next-bench syndrome, by using it differently from the author and providing an extra pair of eyes on the bugs.

This project is presently hosted on GitHub, a non-free code-hosting service; I would like to move away from a proprietary platform for hosting a free project, especially one associated with other free projects.

Other Software Required:

Elnode GPLv3 http://elnode.org/
elwikicreole GPLv3 https://github.com/nicferrier/elwikicreole
esxml GPLv3 https://github.com/tali713/esxml

Tarball URL:
