Dvdrtools cannot be cross compiled.

The configure script recognises that we are building a cross compiler, and fails at:

checking bits in minor device number... configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling
See `config.log' for more details.

I have played about with the configure options and no combination of host/build/target seems to fix the problem.

My host is i686-linux-gnu and the target is i386-linux (an embedded machine that happens to have a DVD/RW drive).

I would have thought the number of bits in the device numbers was defined by the kernel headers, and could be parsed by processing the kernel headers instead of trying to build and run programs.
