I agree 100% about the "Down" button as I had the exact same experience. I saw a review of this application on the Ubuntu Software Center that said it was nice, but had no option to change the resolution. That was doubtless because the reviewer had never clicked the "Down" button. Only five buttons and the reviewer still missed it because the name was so unexpected.

Since "Down" changes to "Up" after you click it, perhaps it could say "Show Options" and then "Hide Options". Or even "More" and "Less" would be better than "Down" and "Up".

The "Down" button (and pop-down behavior) is totally not what I expected, and I didn't even realize it was there until I was browsing screenshots trying to figure out where to set the resolution.

Similarly, "Information" should be "About" if anything, Quit should probably not be there (there's a nice little close box on the window already), and Execute should probably be Connect or something.
