The serial line support in GDB does not work when it is
compiled for Mingw32 (ie, Windows Native mode).  There is
an open task for that (task 1392 for GDB).

However the serial line support is functional when
GDB is compiled in Cygwin environment.

P.S: I assign this bug to me but I will not fix it.
(Task 1392 is open to everybody)

I develop a BDM to RSP adaptor for HCS12 board. Everything works perfect under Linux: after command 'target remote /dev/ttyS0' gdb connects to my device. But under Windows 2000 command 'target remote COM1' gives result like 'COM1: no errors' but actually no connection. The command 'set remotelogfile' does not function too.
Do i something wrong?
Best regards
