The gksudo currently asks:

Enter your password to perform administrative tasks

The application '%s' lets you modify essential parts of your system.

Problem #1: I am no native speaker, but I think the first sentence is not clear. Many inexperienced users may ask "And what is administrative password?". It should be more clear that the password is his password. For example "Enter your password in order to perform administrative tasks".

Problem #2: The second sentence lets you think that the application you are running is beneficial. It says it lets YOU modify... No, the application can be very nasty and eat your computer! Please rephrase this sentence. I would suggest something like "The application '%s' demands granted permission to modify fundamental parts of your system.".

My English is not brilliant, but I think the meaning is clear. Please fix.
