As far as I know, the issue is still present. At least 0.17 still does nothing with my 2424M.

I'm not a perl guy, and am quite busy this week, but I'm plodding along at making some changes to the module, testing, and hopefully creating a patch.

I can't help directly since I don't have access to
ProCurve devices.

Are you able to create a patch to address the
issues (1) and (2) ?

For issue (3), if the switch does not provide a command
for disabling the pager, maybe you can work-around the
pager by using the method expect_enable_prompt_paging()
available in the DmSwitch.pm module:

($prematch, $match) = $self->expect_enable_prompt_paging($t, $prompt, '--More-- ');
if (!defined($prematch)) {
    $self->log_error("could not find end of configuration");
    return 1;

There seem to be serious issues with the ProCurve module. I don't know what model/OS version it was written for, but I'm running a 2424M (J4093A) with firmware C.09.30 (latest version).

1) After logging in, you're dumped to a menu. To get the command line, you need to send "5" (selection for Diagnostics) and then "4" (selection for Command Line).
2) The script is attempting to send an enable password, but privilege levels in the ProCurve firmware are controlled by the original login password, not an enable password.
3) I can't figure out a way to just dump the whole config - by default, the switch pages it through more.
