As you know, the RF212 and RF231 allow the user of the device to use other SFD values if they want to create a system that will not be interrupted by standard 802.15.4 frames.

So we want to use that feature to reduce the activity they have to process on our network.

But since the sniffer uses the standard default SFD, it is not possible to use the sniffer to monitor these systems ( obviously they can go in and edit the source and rebuild  etc )
