Sorry for being late to look at this, but I can't reproduce it with 6.1.0. If I talk to myself from another account (with Pidgin), messages are saved in ~/.riece/log/<my nick>/20100529.txt.iso-2022-jp.

Perhaps it might be a coding-system issue.

Using Riece 6.10 on Emacs 23.0.60, with riece-log addon enabled, Riece successfully logs all traffic in # and & channels, but only logs my outgoing messages in query buffers. Replies in query buffers (displayed as =user= instead of >user<) are never logged.

My ~/.riece/save is attached.



(Note: upload size limit is set to 16384 kB, after insertion of the required escape characters.)
