This was one of my first impulses when I first tried straw. I use straw because I like to keep my RSS activity all in one application/one window, and having to switch back and forth to the browser is inconvenient.  It just makes intuitive/conceptual sense to me that you should be able to view the entire entry within straw.

Is this really going to be useful? Is there a problem with just opening a browser to display the item?

Maybe a hotkey which will have a title link openned in a gtkhtml2 window. Most newsfeed are simple html pages with images, css. gtkhtml2 should be able to handle those pages.

A hotkey to open links using a gtkhtml2 pane (like the lower pane of current straw) or gtkhtml2 window, another key to open the link using an external web browser will be great.
