Yes, i know that's TCC no GNUC but likes or not working on Windows the open choice is Mingw.
Many open sources/cross-platforms libraries compile with the option GNUC (= Mingw), no TCC (=Mingw).
So, you will expect TCC be a nice partner of Mingw if you want work on Windows: sadly if Mingw's TCC fails, TCC fails (GNUC or not).

You cannot expect things to work if you define _GNUC_.  Specifically, TinyCC doesn't know anything about __builtin_va_list.

Working on Win XP SP2, with parameter "-D__GNUC__=3.45" i get this:
c:/tcc/include/stdio.h:134: ';' expected
being the line 134
typedef __builtin_va_list va_list;

Complete paragrah is:

  • I used to include stdarg.h at this point, in order to allow for the
  • functions later on in the file which use va_list. That conflicts with
  • using stdio.h and varargs.h in the same file, so I do the typedef myself.

#ifndef _VA_LIST
#define _VA_LIST
#if defined _GNUC_ && _GNUC_ >= 3
typedef __builtin_va_list va_list;
typedef char* va_list;
