This is an error in fact. Masking out a certain bit for example:


AND ~(1<<BIT)


does result in an "expression fully enclosed in parenthesis" warning as well.

I get warning from the following instruction, where sin8 is a label:

ld h, (sin8 >> 8)

Removing the parenthesis makes this go away and code appears to generate correctly without them, but I don't understand why having them should generate a warning.
