I've noticed ubnormal behaviour of `cvs tag XXX ...`
WRT trailing slashes also, please see my report on
http://bugs.debian.org/421230 for details.

We use a cvs pserver for a project.
I have a project with two directories containing multiple files.
Changes are made in both directories.

When doing a cvs diff dir1 dir2 everything is OK. I see all the changes I've made.

When doing a cvs diff dir1/ dir2 only partial changes are seen.
The same holds for cvs diff dir1 dir2/

By changingd the CVSROOT to the repository directly instead of using a pserver all goes ok.

I've downloaded cvs-1.11.21 and patched client.c. This strips the trailing backslashes when sending filesnames in (in case of a directory) to the server.
I don't know if this is correct and complete solution but it seems to work ;)
