From pfw@moi.unl.edu:
Hi,
I'm trying to use the dbug target under gdb to run a Technological Arts
Adapt912 Eval. Board. It uses a 68HC912B32 micro, and has the DBug12
software on it. I'm running RedHat 9.0, and connecting through the
serial port, /dev/ttyS0. Things seem to work well until I try to load a
program onto the board. Then I get a seg. fault. Perusing the
archives, I noted a few messages about a similar problem, but no
indication as to the resolution. Could anyone fill me in?
In one post, Stephane requested a backtrace. I've gotten one, and I've
appended that info, along with a bit more at the end of this message.
I would very much appreciate any help, advice, or information.
Thanks.
Frazer

Here's what I did:
gdb $d/gdb 2>&1 | tee gdb.out
# The directory $d contains the 681x version of gdb. The first gdb
# is the native version of gdb that came with my RedHat system.
# wc.elf is a 6812 elf executable produced by the 681x assembler
# and linker.
And here's the contents of gdb.out
