Good idea, Sadly I don't have time right now to do this on my own (reality strikes again). As I said I'm adding a few things in as part of bug #15647 to make this easier but I will not do it myself (at least not anytime soon that is).

It would make sence per building per level (and sublevel)

Inn: L1 needs fewer globs to supply than L3 while upgrading would probably be when I want to assign the most.

So for example what i would do: 3 globs for setting it up, 1 to supply (no fruits), 5 to upgrade, 2 to supply, 15 to upgrade, 6 to suply.

I've set up the variable globalContainer->settings.rememberUnit which can be toggled within the settings to allow players the choice of whether or not they want to have the game remember the last state or always use the defaults when placing as assigned manually within the settings menu.

I found the building identifier variable within building.txt

I was planning on originally setting this up for just the flags and then later configuring for each building. I wasn't planning on setting this for each specific building level though it could be done. One thing that I need that I haven't been able to find is the unique building identifier variable. I'm pretty certain this is the typeNum variable listed within building.cpp however I haven't confirmed this. I haven't seen any specific identifiers within buildings.txt so if you can either give such a list or show where it's dcoumented I would appreciate this.

Would you like it per building or per building/level ?

This is somewhat related to my proposed advanced setting change. I would like it so that when the amount of workers on a building/flag is changed the game will remember what it was changed to and any buildings/flags of the same type placed theafter will have that same number of workers working on it.
