The CPU usage is a known bug. Essentially, the tricks we use to keep the CPU usage down in GNU/Linux don't work the same way in Windows.
As for the Quadra thing, that's in the pipeline. I really hope to see something like that one day, but Crack-Attack! just wasn't designed for it initially. We'll be updating the networking protocol to handle something like it, and then the graphics will come much later.
