At the begining, all works very good, but after a period of time, it stops responding to some options, like "connect to more servers" or "connect to server (when one or more has been previously selected)".

Corresponding source code
To make it clearer, servers can be MLDonkey internally blocked
due to IP blocklist.
KMLDonkey can not display this status, the server is shown as
disconnected, pressing "connect" does have no effect because the
core will not connect to this server.
Solution: Use Sancho: emerge sancho-bin
