Since a few years, partysip developments are clearly over.
If anyone wants to take on with this project, please let me know.
If you want to use a stable, compliant and full featured proxy, please choose one from the ser's family:
sip-router/kamailio/ser/opensips

Of course! Some people are sometimes asking if I still work on partysip!
Of course, but partysip is quite complete now. Initial objectives are reached and partysip is a really good compliant proxy.
It has not a huge amount of built-in modules but is extensible and you can implement plugins to adapt it to your needs.
For example, I'm working on a presence server which is only based on new plugins...

O.5.0 has a new design. It improves responsivness of the proxy and thus minimize the number of retranmissions that can occurs. In this release, CANCEL are fully supported and the stateless functionnality has been disabled. (you can use 0.4.8 for stateless needs.)

Experience revealed some bugs and some minor fixes were required
to compile of some new unix platforms. Changelog will tell you all!

Partysip is now publicly available. The initial release has a huge TODO list but this program has already enough functionalities to be used in common SIP environments.
