So we are still at 0.0.11. but the current patchlevel is -16, which is
a record so far :-). It means the code had gone thru lots of structural changes without new features. For one is that virtualitty now uses the linux kernel doubly linked list ...

Due to the join of a new developer (welcome abhi! :-) we have set up
both the public mailing list (post to virtualitty-devel@nongnu.org,
subscribe using the "Mailing Lists" project option) and the CVS tree.
Expect some flakiness in the cvs tree for some time, the shock code
has experienced need to settle down :-).

so 0.0.11 is finally here. watch out for 0.0.12 soon :-)
lots of things happened. notably virtuad threading rework,
which, it seems, wont change again any time soon.
also the object instantiation is plugged in since now.
which mean all net transfers are much much faster.

This release brings pieces of the server intercommunication infrastructure. Nothing exciting user-respectively.

This release introduces the passwd-like security file and
the server authentication code (quite ascetic at the moment).
The client now is unable to connect to the world server due to
lacking functionality :) (need to make it sending a password).
Plus all virtualitty apps (both servers and the SDL client)
now have a nice usage message in the case you`ve violated the
parameter format :)

Event loop finally came to a close, which means that avatar
movement alters the world, and thus we can finally see each other
in the world! (Except there`s no model assigned to avatars :)

the project is living, and we are currently deep in the server code,
adjusting internal interfaces etc :)
one of the new ideas is to add a 2D look to virtualitty worlds.

We are happy to announce a 0.0.8 release of virtualitty!
Lots of changes were introduced, like a SDL port,
a beginning of threading, event subscription etc :)

I`m terribly sorry, but the file permissions on the 0.0.7
version were broken, and the existing mechanism at savannah
wasn`t helping to fix it, so we`ve released 0.0.7.1.
