Hi,
I'm pleased to announce SCEW 1.0.0. It has been a long time since the last release in May 2004.
This new release includes a lot of improvements: unit tests, homogenized API, a lot of new functions, support for custom I/O sources, documentation updates, Windows support improved and many others.

With the upcoming 1.0 release SCEW needs updated project files for Visual Studio.
As I'm not an expert on Windows development I am asking for a bit of help.
Anyone interested?

Approaching to the SCEW 1.0 release, I thought it would be great to have a new mailing list for SCEW users.
SCEW 1.0 will have a better API as well as many new features.

This release includes minor fixes and a new functionality to load XML dynamicaly from an stream.

After the Savannah compromising, package downloads were broken. The Savannah hackers have solved the problems, and downloads are available again.

As you should already know, Savannah was compromised. Some of the services are still down, therefore I have uploaded a backup of the lastest SCEW version at:

After a few days, here comes a new SCEW release with many bug fixes and improvements. I'd like to thank Brodie Thiesfield for all the good work done.

This new release includes many changes, improvements and cleanups. May be the most important are: added error system, XML declaration readed, performance of element and attribute iteration really improved, better white spaces treatment...

This release includes a fixed crash bug in scew_element_del_attr(). It also includes compatibilized headers with C++ and some compilation warnings fixes.
