This is a bugfix release created in order to deal with C++ namespace changes of GCC 4.3.x. No new features have been added.

Toni Graffy (PackMan team) has kindly provided RPM packages for SuSE Linux 10.0, 10.1, and openSuSE 10.2. The packages are available on
http://packman.links2linux.de/package/libTMCG/ and in the PackMan repository as well.

A major security bug (missing range check) was fixed, which allows an adversary to choose trivial group generators. This flaw has a crucial impact on the confidentiality of private cards. Thus, we strongly recommend all users to update LibTMCG as soon as possible.

Some interfaces were changed to allow the creation of keys without included non-interactive zero-knowledge proof of validity. In particular, this is more convenient whenever the new VTMF encoding scheme is used. Further some optimizations have been applied.

A research paper [1] on the implementation details including a performance analysis of LibTMCG is now available. This work will be published in the post-proceedings of the Western European Workshop on Research in Cryptology (WEWoRC 2005).
