Corresponding source code
Upon a cursory review of this patch, comparing it with the state of the code base in and around the same period of time, and with successive versions; it appears that some of the features represented in this patch were superseded by a different approach taken to define and instantiate virtual device features within the simulated core in later patches to the code base.
However it may still serve as a good point of reference, as it's not clear if all of the ATMEGA's timer features represented in this patch are presently correspondingly represented in the current code base.
