Your patch is ok, had not much time recently to look into it.
Its included in patch #4732

Or remove the message when select() or poll() are interrupted, since it's not an error case.

yes, profiling was enabled. Without profiling the exceptions are gone. But maybe we should add warning when compiling with profiling?

Did you compile your core with profiling enabled ?

Profiling interrupts mlnet 100 times/s to generate statistics, and as a side effect can generate such messages...
