I'm currently planning a massive overhaul of the whole project. Plans still haven't be written down or fleshed out, but the following features appear to be likely:

The program is going to be re-worked into a 2-D anti-aliased graphics + font library. It will support anti-aliased and alpha-channel-anti-aliased graphics and will be resolution agnostic (will look the same on all resolutions.
It's gonna be built to work with the Allegro game programming library, and that's its intended use.
