LDAP For PHPNuke - Summary
This project is not part of the GNU Project.
PHP-Nuke uses an SQL database to manage users. LDAP for PHP-Nuke synchronizes this database with an LDAP database server allowing PHP-Nuke users to be managed through the LDAP database as well. LDAP servers can be used to manage servers for other services such as mail, Samba (file/print sharing), etc. so a user can have a single name/password for all these services.
LDAP for PHP-Nuke does not provide single signon authentication but it can handle creation of user resources for services such as mail and file/print services.
