Open Panorama File Format - Summary

This group is not part of the GNU Project.

The goal of this project is to create an open and universal XML file format for panoramas.
It will be possible to import a panorama from any proprietary file format to this one without a loss of quality or information. Everybody will be able to create a software to import/export from/to an other file format.
Because of the XML file fomrat is a simple text, it will be possible for future users to change theire panoramas properties with a simple text editor. Most of the data which was in viewer parameters will be in the panorama file, so users will be able to use the viewer/editor they want without having to change anything.
