PUBMED-to-Email - Summary
This project is not part of the GNU Project.
pm2mail is a tool to allow access to PUBMED - the U.S. National Library of Medicine's bibliographic database - over email. It is intended to assist scientists and clinicians doing research in the underserved and health-challenged communities of the world.
For all those eligible to the WHO HINARI programme, pm2mail also allows fulltext retrieval through WHO HINARI proxy. Thus, people in developing countries may get access to 2000+ medical journals in fulltext at no cost except costs for an email.
