wifimap - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
Wifimap is an application to graphically document the organisation and growth of a wireless network community. It is completely browser driven and is tested with Mozilla and Galeon on GNU/Linux. It features a multicell-based map grid, this means that the full map is composed of numerous square cells. Users can start with just a few cells to cover their area. New cells can be easily added using a built in map editor. Users can access different areas of the network by scrolling through the cells. Wireless nodes can be added or edited with a few mouse clicks. Nodes can contain an unlimited mixture of access point and client components. Links are automatically drawn based on the node information. i18n support is included but translators are needed for many languages. The latest version of wifimap can always be found at http://www.freesoftwaresolutions.org/downloads
