Would it be possible to import gcc/gdb/etc into CVS so
diffs can be more easily generated?
eg import the original FSF sources into CVS and then
apply the diffs as they currently stand, and commit. Then
new patch sets can be easily generated using cvs diff.
IMHO this would make it a lot easier for people hacking on
the code to generate diffs too (although the initial checkout
is slow)
