The security and the mathematical assumptions are explained in the reference manual of LibTMCG: http://www.nongnu.org/libtmcg/libTMCG.pdf

i am interested in making an implementation of this, and wanted to know more about the mathematical stuff in your library.

could you please email me back at -email is unavailable- I have some questions.

I want to know how secure is the algorithm, like what computation power is needed to decode the cards. Or if there is a potential mathematical break.

and another question is: can you prove that the correct cards were in the deck without revealing all of the cards? Like if a player puts 5 aces in the deck, encrypts, the other player encrypts, then you deal the 9 cards, the same ace doesn't come up, but can we tell that it wasn't in the deck, without revealing the remaining cards? Because if you reveal the remaining cards, then you will know what your opponent had, even if he mucked.
