No problem, Bob.  The pages are working fine now -- I just uploaded some modifications and they were immediately published.

Thanks for the help.

Hello Sanjay, This is still a relevant ticket. The hook for "fussy" tripped the same problem as the one here. Which is why the ticket remains open. I apologize that I wasn't able to resolve the root cause before it affected you too.

In any case I fixed the fussy project and manually triggered the hook that should have triggered on the last commit that you made.  The web page appears now. You should be good to go. And the fussy project configuration should be set okay moving forward too.

I will dig into this again and see I can actually resolve it this time. Apologies again that it is a deja-vu problem.

Hi,

This is an old ticket and the latest comment on this seems to have fixed the problem.  However I am having the same problem right now.

Following the instructions in  https://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/HomepageUpload, I uploaded an index.html file and a directory ("manual") with a few .html and .png files for /web/fussy for the recently approved GNU Fussy project (https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/fussy/).  However https://www.gnu.org/software/fussy does not yet exist, where I was hoping to publish index.html filed and the manual.  I have waited for >12hr.

Wondering if there is something I missed or did wrong?

Sanjay

Something "unfixed" this project's hook script.  Opening the ticket back up again while I am investigating what might have done that.

Thank you for the problem report.  There was a misconfiguration in the cvs hook that was supposed to trigger the web page update.  It was missing from the loginfo hook file.  I have fixed it for emacs-shroud.  I triggered the update manually.  The page appears now.

It should be working for you moving forward.  You should be able to commit and see the update appear within a moment or two.  It's event driven.  Your commit should trigger the update.

Thanks again for reporting this problem so that it could get fixed! :-)

Hi,

I added some web pages in CVS web repo for project/group emacs-shroud. I was expecting that the pages show up within a few hours. It could be that i have made a mistake in the setup somehow?

I thought that instead of waiting any longer I would like to confirm what has really happened. And, i saw this in the documentation "Large updates, involving many megabytes may not be completed...".

Could someone take a look? Thank you.
