Hello,

yes, that was an example output. I updated the file name to make it more clear, plus I've added license information to the script. I have also written a first mockup of a README file (not final yet).

I will upload the new tarball in an instant, many thanks for your support.

is final.ppm a picture that is generated by the program itself?
Otherwise it needs to have it's own license&copyright information.

The .sh file has just stepped over the "triviality line", as it is more than about 10 lines. Therefore it should have a license&copyright header as well. For example the small one from:
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/License-Notices-for-Other-Files.html#License-Notices-for-Other-Files

I think you should strip the binary a.out from the tarball.
Otherwise, everything looks fine.

Description:

Metatrace is a C++ compile time ray tracer (as of the initial release, it is a whitted style one).

It is mostly inane stuff. except, maybe, that it's a nice gadget to test compiler performance and conformance, especially but not exclusively in the Template and Metaprogramming corner of C++.
