Thanks Karl and Josef, project approved.  Will do likewise for anise and look at shallot ASAP.

Hi Josef - I'm one of Hugh's colleagues.  It's ok to put a general note in the README covering images.  It's ideal to give file names, or at least directory names, for clarity, but it's also fine (even good) to give a catch-all fallback.

As for the naming, I think using "code words" as you have giving is ok, since the words are not short.  As far as I can recall, we have never had a specific prohibition against code words, and I don't see a need to start now.

Hugh - if the above suits your understanding too, please go ahead and approve.

Hi Hugh.

Thank you for your work :) It is actually the third time I try it with Ginger and I hoped that everything is fixed now^^ But yes, you are probably right, there are image files which don't have any explicit license information. Is it okay to place a general notice in the README? Something like 'All .png files, unless stated otherwise, are (C) Josef Hahn, CC license ...'?

To the names: Is this a requirement or just a hint? I would not feel good with changing the names. It really makes a bunch of work (I use those tools here as well since years and have integrated them everywhere with their current names). Many programs have rather meaningless names, haven't they? I also love my naming scheme, I admit :)

Greetings
Josef

Josef: looks good, thank you for submitting.  I would just raise two things:

1. naming issue raised before under "anise"

2. please make sure image files have clear source and licence information somewhere it can be easily found (sorry if I have missed this).  I am thinking of ginger/main/static/hint.png.

Best wishes

Hugh
