Pavel,

I'm sorry, I haven't mentioned that VCS for the project should be GIT and not CVS. Is it possible to change this somehow?

Thanks.

Registration Details

  • Name: mcusim is an interactive simulator for microcontrollers
  • System Name:  mcusim
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

The main goal of the project is to provide a free alternative
for proprietary projects for electronic design automation
(like Proteus VSM, https://www.labcenter.com/simulation/) software. mcusim is not intended to be a debugger-only simulator, but a visual one which supports popular free schematic formats (from KiCad, for instance, https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Kicad/file_formats#Schematic_Files_Format).

The main idea is to have an application which loads existing schematic with MCU and allows to simulate work of the scheme
on a frequency scaled down (real MCU frequency works at 16 MHz, simulation is performed on 100 kHz) with minimal differences between real devices and simulated scheme.

The main language for the project is C. User interface hasn't been implemented yet, but I'm going to use GTK+ for this one.

Other Software Required:

Third-party code and libraries used by mcusim:
