I'm afraid you are right, it's very simple; you could host it on a web page, perhaps it's too simple for a dedicated Savannah group.

Unfortunately, I have next to no idea about what it would look like when your parser is functional.  If it's going to grow into something considerably larger, I'd suggest to re-submit it then.

Hello, John!

I'm sorry, your archive only contains a symbolic link that naturally doesn't work for me; could you attach a tarball with actual sources?

Registration Details

  • Name: Common LISP Switch Parser
  • System Name:  cl-switch-parser
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: Apache 2.0

Description:

This is a very simple library that aims to add a facility for command-line switch parsing for Common LISP.
Most CL implementations provide users access to command-line arguments but not any method of parsing switches and I have found no libraries to provide this feature.
It is (obviously) written in Common LISP and currently has no dependencies although it may require CL-PPCRE in the future (http://weitz.de/cl-ppcre/).
This is a very small project that is not currently functional, and it will likely only be worked on by me so it may be admitably better suited for simpler project hosting without the bells and whistles.
Thanks for your time.

Other Comments:

Like I said before, this is a very small project.
